DRIVER and GENERAL HELPER
for the next possible date

Main tasks:
Researching and shopping for mainly beverages and food items, but also occasionally building materials, cooklery, cleaning items and other items needed around the restaurant and house
Loading and unloding the car, storing items
Collecting and selling recycle materials
Other necesary tours with the car
Car Maintanance
Other small jobs around the restaurant and house

Requirements:
The candidate must be
- in posession of a valid Gambian driving licence
- fluent in written and spoken English and able to work with overviews and tables without the help of a third person
- a conscious, careful and defensive driver
- familiar with names, storage, transport conditions and prices of beverages, food items (local market and supermarket) and building material - familiar with the Greater Banjul Area
- familiar with maintance of motor vehicles
- hard working, responsible, reliable, flexible, polite

Offer:
During the low season this is a part time job, during the season (November till March) it will probably be stocked up to a full time job. The salary is oriented on the usual local rates, depending on skills and experiences with potential of increase within a longterm engagement with outstanding performance.

MANAGMENT ASSISTANT
High Season, November to March

This is also interesting for people from overseas, looking for opportunities of gaining experiences in the restaurant business in West-Africa.

We are looking for a cheerful all round talent, who can help out in the diffent restaurant sectors (kitchen, buffet service, table service, bar, reception, general supervision) and who is also able to manage the restaurant fully on self support during absence of the owner.

Main tasks and responsibilities:
- tasks around kitchen, buffet, bar and customer care on demand
- responsible for smooth operation of certain sectors, respectively the entire restaurant
- team leading, coordination during the owners absence
- entire management of operation, including accounting, stock taking and supply coordination

Requirements:
The candidate must
- be absolutely fluent in written and spoken English
- have experiences in restaurant business
- have organisation, coordination and leadership skills
- show great team spirit and respect towards all staff
- be hard working, responsible, reliable, flexible and absolutely polite
